International Women's Day // Eleanor Launch
In connection with International Women's Day and the launch of our new collection 'Eleanor,' we have interviewed five different women to hear their perspectives on life and career.
Interview with Charlotte Biehl
Founder of Danish jewlery brand byBiehl
Charlotte Biehl founded byBiehl in 2010 with a vision to create sophisticated, feminine jewelry of high quality at an affordable price. With a background as a management consultant, Charlotte had extensive experience in strategy, product launches, and business management, but her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to build something of her own.
Growing up in the countryside with a mother passionate about sustainable micro-farming and recycling, Charlotte developed a natural understanding of responsibility and environmental awareness. This is reflected in byBiehl's DNA, where their green journey and timeless design go hand in hand.
Interested in Charlotte’s earrings? They are a little sneak peek of an upcoming launch.

What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken, and what did you learn from it?
One of the biggest risks I have taken was probably quitting my job and throwing myself into byBiehl. Stepping into a life with no financial safety net and where I alone was ultimately responsible for every decision made.
What is one habit or mindset shift that has made a significant difference in your life?
Always striving to live a life that makes me happy every day. I have promised myself that if I’m not happy, I will take action to change it—either by adjusting something or by doing more of what brings me joy. This can be big changes, but also small things like going for a walk or run, or spending an extra five minutes enjoying time with my children.

Who has been your greatest inspiration, and how have they influenced your journey?
It’s not just one specific person who has been my biggest inspiration. It’s many people—those who have pursued their dreams with great passion. I always gain positive energy and inspiration from meeting people who truly love what they do and those who create something meaningful and make a difference.
Looking back at your journey, is there a piece of advice you wish you had received earlier?
Perhaps to seek advice from experienced professionals even more. You don’t have to make every mistake yourself. Sometimes, taking a shortcut is okay if an experienced person can show you the way.

If you could change one thing for women globally, what would it be, and why?
Equal rights, opportunities, and belief in themselves.
